Evance Iskra R9000 Wind Turbines Suitable for Rural Homes and Farms

Home & Mobile Energy designs and installs off-grid and grid-tie wind and solar systems. It also provides customized services based on the requirements of the customer, by helping the customer to design and install a wind energy system appropriate to the location and needs. Home & Mobile Energy installs small wind turbine, the Evance Iskra R9000, which is manufactured by Evance Iskra. As there is no gear box present in the wind turbine, it requires low maintenance. This wind turbine suits rural homes, farms, and commercial sites.

The Evance Iskra R9000 is constructed with three rotor blades with a diameter measuring 5.4m. The rotor is constructed with upwind configuration, and with a rated power of 5kW at 12m/s. The cut-in wind speed is 2.5m/s and the survival wind speed is 60m/s. The wind turbine does not have cut-out wind speed as it continuously generates wind energy from survival wind speed. The blades are made of glass fibre reinforced composite with anti-erosion and UV coatings.  The generator has brushless direct drive with permanent magnet alternator.

The Evance Iskra R9000 wind turbine is mounted on a tower with a height of 9m, 12m and 15m.  The towers are free-standing or guyed towers. The wind turbine has an automatic ElectroBrake and has no moving parts. The tower weighs 300kg.
