Premier Series Geothermal Heat Pump
The Premier Series geothermal heat pump incorporates a microprocessor control that sequences all components for optimum performance and offers troubleshooting features with on-board diagnostics and fault lights. The Copeland scroll compressors are utilized to provide ultra-quiet operation. This heat pump includes variable speed ECM2 blower motors utilized for duct applications. There is an oversized coaxial tube water-to-refrigerant heat exchanger designed for operating at a low liquid pressure. This heat pump has a sealed refrigerant circuit that includes a hermetic motor compressor, air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger, coaxial tube water-to-refrigerant heat exchanger, bidirectional thermostatic expansion valve, reversing valve, service ports and an optional desuperheater coil.
The Premium Series geothermal heat pump operates in a range of water temperatures from 25 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit and has flow rates as low as 1.5 GPM/ton. It incorporates removable panels for accessing internal components for easy servicing. There is an optional desuperheater together with an internal pump to produce hot water. The Premium Series heat pump is available in water loop and ground loop versions. The P 040 ground loop heat pump has a heating capacity of 28,800 BTU/h and a cooling capacity of 41,000 BTU/h. It has a heating of 3.7 COP and a cooling of 18.0 EER.
