GeoSource Vara Heat Pumps with Cold Climate Technology

Econar manufactures a range of environmentally friendly heat pumps, Econar GeoSource Geothermal heat pumps. The GeoSource Vara heat pump from this series is incorporated with cold climate technology. The blower of this heat pump consists of an Electronically Commuted Motor (ECM), which has a variable speed control. It is through this blower that the atmosphere in homes and other area can be kept balanced and comfortable all year around. The blower has the capability to function at low airflow rates continuously and for long periods of time.

The GeoSource Vara heat pump offers a consistent and constant airflow that ensures that there are no cold or hot spots in a home. The air quality provided by this heat pump is also better as compared to convention systems as the air is constantly moving and circulating due to the air filter. People with allergies and breathing difficulties can benefit from this feature of the geothermal heat pump.

For heating applications, the energy provided by the various models of the GeoSource Vara heat pump ranges from 32,000 BTU to 63,000 BTU. However, for cooling and air conditioning, the energy falls between 35,500 BTU to 64,000 BTU. This heat pump complies with ARI 13256-1 international standards.
