DMT 8300S Permanent Magnet Generators for Wind Power Applications from Danotek

Danotek manufactures permanent magnet generators for wind power applications. These generators produce power ranging from 100 kilowatts to 3 megawatts. The DMT 8300S permanent magnet generator is capable of generating a maximum power of over 2 megawatts at a maximum speed of 2,000 rotations per minute. It has a peak efficiency of 98 percent and operates in ambient temperature conditions ranging from -40 degrees centigrade to +55 degrees centigrade.

DMT 8300S Permanent Magnet Generator

The permanent magnet generator from Danotek has a zero cogging effect, meaning there is nil interaction between the stator slots and the permanent magnets of the motor. This variable speed generator uses either glycol or water for cooling. In some cases, even air can be used as an option for cooling. The DMT 8300S permanent magnet generator has a TENV enclosure with a bearing that has the capability to withstand high loads.

The DMT 8300S permanent magnet generator generates a peak power of 2.5 megawatts and has a power factor of 0.99. It generates power at a maximum voltage of up to 1,000 volts. Danotek supplies two other models of permanent magnet generators that include the DMT 6300S and DMT 5300S. Both these models also possess the zero cogging effect.
