LDK Solar Signs Contract to Supply Solar Modules to Enfinity

LDK Solar announced that it has signed a contract with Enfinity, a Belgium-based company, to supply solar modules. LDK Solar, a top listed manufacturer of solar wafers, made this announcement on 14 December, 2009.  An estimated amount of 50 megawatts of solar modules are to be delivered to Enfinity in the year 2010, according to the terms mentioned in the signed contract.

Xiaofeng Peng, Chairman and CEO of LDK Solar, remarked that this contract with Enfinity demonstrates the increasing demand for LDK Solar’s solar panels because of their supreme quality.

Gino Van Neer, Board member of Enfinity, commented on the company’s intention to expand its cooperation with LDK Solar by continuing to establish itself in the renewable energy sector. This contract, according to Neer, highlights one-quarter of the company’s total demand for the year 2010.
