Solar Montana Offers Bergey 10kW Grid Connected Wind Power Systems

Solar Montana supplies grid connected wind power systems from Bergey Windpower. The Bergey 10kW grid connected wind power system comprises a Bergey Excel wind turbine and a GridTek 10 power processor. The Bergey Excel wind turbine has a total of three upwind blades in an overall rotor diameter of 7 meters. It has a start-up wind speed of 3.4 meters per second, while its cut-in wind speed is 2.5 meters per second. This wind turbine has the capability to generate about 10 kilowatts of power at a rated wind speed of 12 meters per second.
