Planetary Systems supplies different models of solar modules including the 175W multi-purpose module manufactured by Sharp. This solar module is a single crystal silicon photovoltaic module that has the cell efficiency of 16.2% and module efficiency of 13.45%. It utilizes a black surface field structure to increase the efficiency of conversion and utilize a textured cell surface to minimize the sunlight’s reflection. With the anti-reflective coating, the absorption of sunlight is maximized in different weather conditions.
The 175W multi-purpose module is designed with single crystal silicon solar cells having a size of 125mm in square shape. It incorporates bypass diode to reduce the decline of power due to shade. The multi-purpose solar module is equipped with EVA resin, weather resistant film, white tempered glass and aluminum frame. It has a nominal output of 24V DC, which is suitable for the grid-connected systems. The open circuit voltage and the short circuit current of this module are 44.4V and 5.55A, respectively. This single crystal silicon photovoltaic module has a maximum power voltage of 35.4V and maximum power current of 4.95A.
The maximum power of this multi-purpose module is 175W and the minimum power is 157.5W. The maximum system voltage is 600V DC. This 175W module measures 62.01 x 32.52 x 1.81 inches and weighs 37.48 pounds. The multi-purpose solar module can be used in cabins, office buildings, solar villages, solar power stations, traffic lights, beacons and radio relay stations, and grid-connected systems.
