WePOWER Completes First Wind Training Program for its Dealers

WePOWER announced the completion of its first wind training program for its dealers that was held in Palm Desert, California. The Authorized Dealer Training Program was attended by representatives from more than 100 dealers in United States and from five countries. WePOWER is leading developer and manufacturer of renewable energy systems and Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWTs). The training program was for two days and featured hands-on field training as well as classroom curriculum.

The training was comprehensive and exceeded the expectations of the participants. Howard Makler, WePOWER’s Executive Vice President, said that the event demonstrates the company’s commitment to develop most efficient network of its authorized dealers throughout the world. Howard Makler commented that the training program, which was a combination of classroom and on-field construction training, provided its authorized dealers with credentials and knowledge that are necessary to provide high quality installation services and sales to its customers.

Mark Little, President of Downlink Technologies, Inc. of Dallas, Texas, one of the participants of the training program, praised the seminar and added that the participation of the attendees in the construction and assembly of the company’s Falcon 5.5kW VAWT at the customer’s location was a unique feature of the program. Mark Little said that this event provided an opportunity for the dealers to meet and share knowledge and tricks of the trade that benefited them.

WePOWER will be conducting its next dealer-training seminar in Palm Desert, California in March.
