Solar EnerTech Enters into Solar Module Distribution Contract with Aussie Solar Installations in Australia

Solar EnerTech and Aussie Solar Installations have entered into a 15 MW solar module distribution contract. Aussie Solar Installations will be distributing the solar modules manufactured by Solar EnerTech in Australia.

Since 2001, Aussie Solar is engaged in the sale, assembly and installation of solar photovoltaic systems and has developed into a leading installer of solar systems in New South Wales, Australia. The company is the exclusive distributor of solar panels manufactured by Solar EnerTech since 2009. The total value of the shipment from Solar EnerTech to Aussie Solar is about US$26 million as per the contract. Solar EnerTech will deliver the modules in separate shipments to Aussie Solar before 2010 end.

Leo Young, Chief Executive Officer of Solar EnerTech, said the company is pleased to carry out one of its biggest orders in Australia till date. Young added that the contract indicates the pickup in the economy and based on its customized high-quality products, the company is seeing more orders from customers.

Managing Director of Aussie Solar, Amber Ferguson, said that the company is delighted with the Solar EnerTech contract. Ferguson added that the full installation process is the responsibility of the company; from solar components supply through to connecting the systems. Ferguson commented that in the solar business, customer satisfaction and quality control are important.
