The burner in the pellet boiler from Atmos also operates as a heat exchanger and receives pellets through a screw conveyor from the storage tank. Situated close by is the fuel tank, which is available in a range of sizes, the standard size being 250 liters or 500 liters. Once the conveyor pushes pellets into the spout of the burner, these are burnt with the help of a glowing coil. In those models equipped with an ash remover, ash is automatically removed at regular intervals.
