California Solar Engineering offers a range of residential photovoltaic systems and other solar products from different manufacturers such as Xantrex, BP Solar, Kyocera, SMA and Professional Solar Products. The company offers solar grid-tie and solar off-grid systems from Xantrex. The residential grid-tie systems comprise Xantrex grid-tie inverter and solar cells. The solar cells convert the sun’s energy into DC electricity and the inverters convert the DC electricity into AC power for using in home or business.
Xantrex GT Series Grid-Tie Solar Inverter
The Xantrex GT series grid-tie solar inverter converts photovoltaic electricity into utility-grade power. It offers efficiency up to 96% and can be installed at a low cost. This GT series solar inverter has a compact enclosure design. It can be installed in a single inverter configuration and multiple-inverter configuration for single PV array and large PV arrays, respectively. The GT series incorporates a DC/AC disconnect and eliminates the external DC disconnects. The heat-sink feature provides heat dispersion without requiring a cooling fan.
The LCD displays information regarding daily energy production, PV array, power level, and utility voltage and frequency, and fault messages. The LCD vibration sensor enables users to turn on the backlight and check through the display screens. This grid-tie solar inverter offered by California Solar Engineering is available in different models. The GT5.0 has a maximum AC output of 5000W and an AC output voltage of 240V. The maximum continuous output current is 21A. This inverter has a weight of 58lbs and available in a height of 28-1/2 inches, width of 16 inches and depth of 5-3/4 inches.
