Entropic Energy Offers Turbion System for Waste Heat Applications

Entropic Energy offers its patented Turbion systems that utilize waste for the generation of heat and electricity. The three types of Turbion systems from the company are the Turbion system for waste heat applications, Turbion system for biomass applications and Turbion system for small communities. Waste heat applications of the system include refineries, glass plants, steel mills, smelters and compressor stations. Turbion systems for waste heat applications are also known as the Recoup-Heat Turbion Series.

While utilizing a 500 degree Celsius flue gas, the Turbion system for waste heat applications, offered by Entropic Energy, provides a net cycle efficiency of about 20 per cent. Flue gas temperatures of this system can also be as low as 300 degree Celsius. The Turbion system is most effective when used in accordance with systems that offer an electrical output of less than 200 kW. There are a number of gas cleaning options that can be used in this system as the flue gas temperature is variable.

The Turbion system for waste heat applications does not require any cooling water, cooling tower or make-up water. This system utilizes the patented Entropic power cycles for its operation and electricity generation.
