Hampton manufactures different models of wood inserts and wood stoves. The wood inserts available from the company can be easily installed in an exiting fireplace. They are made of cast iron. The all-in-one draft control rod incorporated with the insert enables users to select a slow burning fire to provide less heat or strong fire to get rid of the chillness. There are two models of inserts, namely, HI200 and HI300 and are available in enamel black, metallic black or timberline brown.
The HI200 wood insert is a cast wood insert that can be installed into any existing fireplace to get rid of the drafts from open fireplaces. It is a small-sized insert with an EPA certification. The HI200 insert operates on a single rod draft control and with a non-catalytic technology. It is equipped with a brick-lined firebox and a ceramic safety glass. This wood insert available from Hampton has an airwash system to keep the glass clean for a clearer view of the flames of fire. Stainless steel liner kit, 2-speed blower and a 4-1/2 inch offset flue adaptor are included as options.
The HI200 wood insert is capable of delivering heat output up to 55,000 BTU. It has a maximum heat efficiency of 77.7%. The firebox has a diameter of 1.4cu.ft. and the logs used inside this firebox must have a size of 16 inches. The flue has a diameter of 6 inches. This fireplace insert measures a width of 23 inches, height of 19-5/8 inches and a depth of 15-1/16 inches.
