Ecopower offers the solar hot water system that comprises solar panels with evacuated tubes. The evacuated tubes feature copper pipe and reflector to provide efficient transfer of solar heat. The efficiency rate of the solar water heating system is about 93 percent. In addition, the evacuated tube technology offers continuous water heating even when there is low sunlight. The evacuated tubes are not affected by the surrounding temperatures, hence operates for a longer period.
The solar water heating system, provided by Ecopower, is equipped with twin coil solar cylinder made of stainless steel. The capacity of the twin coil cylinder is 200 liters. The dual coil system allows the water to be heated by solar power as well as by additional boiler or wood burning stove. The additional heating source can be used when there is no sufficient sunlight such as during cloudy days. Various components of the solar hot water system include solar system controller, filling loop, non return valve, solar expansion vessel, roof fitting kit made of stainless steel, and plumbing fittings kit.
The panel of the water heating system comprises 20 evacuated tubes, each having a diameter of 47mm. Fixing kit for the solar panel is also included. The solar water heating system, available from Ecopower, is provided with five liters of glycol solar antifreeze that is nontoxic. The solar hot water system also features three PT100 temperature sensors and a backup immersion heater with capacity of 2kW.
