A-Power Energy Generation Systems Announces $1.7 Million Photovoltaic Solar Machine Contract

A definitive contract has been signed by EVATECH Co., Ltd, of Kyoto in Japan with a leading renewable energy company in China to deliver one set of photovoltaic (PV) solar machines. EVATECH is a 100% subsidiary company of A-Power Energy Generation Systems, Ltd., a wind turbine manufacturing company in China. It is also a leading distributed power generation systems provider in the country.

Under the terms of the $1.7 million contract, EVATECH has to design and manufacture the PV solar machine. The installation of the machine is also covered under the contract. The company has received a down payment and expects to ship the equipment on 31st May 2010.

Industrial equipment for producing liquid crystal displays (LCDs), plasma display panels (PDPs), and amorphous-silicon PV panels are designed and manufactured by EVATECH.
