Geothermal Well Testing Services from GeothermEx

GeothermEx offers well testing services, which is an important phase in the development of a geothermal plant. The company has tested wells with dry steam, two-phase, single-phase hot water, hypersaline, low enthalpy, high gas and EGS resources. They have expertise in sampling and analysis and fluid chemistry. The sampling and analysis service carried out at Guatemala site has helped GeothermEx to understand the performance of a geothermal resource over a period of time.

GeothermEx can provide the following services under well testing. They are, fluid sampling during well testing, analyzing pressure transient data from complex resources, conducting the tests and analyzing results, obtaining test equipment and services, and designing well tests and identifying required instruments. GeothermEx have assessed resources in numerous projects which involved 7,000 megawatts of dry steam, binary cycle geothermal power and flash steam.

GeothermEx provides resource assessment services which involve geological analysis, resource modeling and cost analysis.  The resource assessment services include estimation of resources, identifying and characterizing development risks, field development optimization, power cycle analysis, field management analysis, and economic analysis.

In more than 100 geothermal fields, GeothermEx have done surveys, mapping and analysis of resources.  They have the expertise to explore and assess geothermal resources to develop a new geothermal plant and also to build additional resources from existing plants.
