Trina Solar Increases PV Module Shipments to ENERQOS SPA in Italy

Changzhou Trina Solar Energy, a subsidiary of Trina Solar Limited, has increased its PV module yearly shipments to ENERQOS SPA. Trina Solar is a leading solar PV products manufacturer and ENERQOS is a leading developer of solar power plants and photovoltaic systems and is based in Italy. The company has its headquarters in Monza and offices across Italy, Greece and France.

In November 2009, a PV module supply agreement was signed by the companies. As per the agreement, Trina Solar has supplied 2 MW of PV modules in 2009 and is increasing its committed quantity for 2010 to 23 MW. Of these 23 MW, the company will ship 13 MW of PV modules in the first half of 2010 and the balance 10 MW during the second half of the year at previously agreed prices.

Vice President of Sales and Marketing (Europe) at Trina Solar, Ben Hill, said the company is delighted to expand its relationship with ENERQOS, a leading engineering company in Europe. The combination of company’s high-quality solar modules and ENERQOS's expertise in providing turnkey solar power system solutions will enable Trina Solar to increase its market share in the fast growing European photovoltaic market.
