Micro-Megawatt High Density Tracker

The Micro-Megawatt high density tracker is available in simple design. The tracker system has welded joints to provide long-term reliability. Like any other commercial tracking system, the Micro-Megawatt tracker utilizes less number of motors per megawatt. Materials and components of high quality such as the hot dipped galvanized structure are incorporated for long-term protection. High density tracker system which uses an AC drive motor handles 259kW of PV modules. Microprocessor control unit is included with each motor to make it operate independently. There is a GPS enabled master control unit for networking with individual drive motor controllers. This master controller has the capacity to communicate error signals, tracker position and output the data to Scada system through Modbus.

Each control unit of the Micro-Megawatt tracker system controls the back-tracking. High density tracker from Array Technologies is configured to function with different row heights. With this option, the tracker can be adapted to row-to-row and terrain elevation variations. The Micro-Megawatt high density tracker has no lubrication points and requires little maintenance.
