A new range of products for solar applications is being launched by Bluestar Silicones. The range of products includes CAF 530, a high-performance adhesive, which optimizes solar modules’ longevity performance.
The new range of silicone products being launched by the company enhances the longevity and efficiency of solar modules. The products help to extend the modules’ resistance to erosion due to weather, where the performance of modules must be constant for a minimum of 25 years.
The mono and bi-component silicone elastomers (RTV 1 & 2) products being launched by the company is used for sealing and sticking of junction box and the frame of the module. The bi-component products are utilized for encapsulation of photovoltaic cells and of components in the junction box. The range of products is specially suited for solar modules with high-performance properties.
The company’s CAF 530 adhesive ensures long-term sticking and sealing of the solar module, which helps to provide long-term protection of the PV cells and its related connections against humidity. The main cause of efficiency deteriorations in solar modules is due to humidity over time. The CAF 530 with its high-degree elasticity properties absorbs and resists differential dilations of the assembled components. Reliable and long-life adhesion between junction box and the solar module’s rear panel is guaranteed by using CAF 530.
The launch of these high-performance products demonstrates the determination of The Bluestar Group to become a big sustainable development player in the market. Since the company was founded about 25 years ago, The Bluestar Group has always been committed to protect the environment.
