This DC refrigerator eliminates about 80 per cent of the energy consumption in homes operating on utility power.

RF16 Solar Refrigerators

The RF16 solar refrigerator features a top mounted cooling system. The heat of the condenser and compressor are not allowed to reenter the refrigerator, increasing the efficiency of the cooling system. The RF16 refrigerator is available in a numerous range of colors and natural wood finishes. The solar refrigerator, produced by Sun Frost, also offers various features such as quiet operation and high humidity storage. The interior of the refrigerator is made of fiberglass reinforced plastic that can be easily cleaned and maintained.

Two separate cooling systems with independent temperature controls exist in the RF16 solar refrigerator from Sun Frost. Thus, even while one compartment is shut down, the other continues to function. The solar refrigerator features cooling coils on the outside that do not require fans. For better access to the refrigerator, it can be mounted on a cabinet. The 13-inch high cabinet, which has two drawers side by side, is also available from Sun Frost on request.
