The "Green Automation" initiative of the VDMA and the tradeshow AUTOMATICA will be presented for the first time at this year's AUTOMATICA that takes place in Munich June 8-11, 2010. Robotics and automation make work processes efficient and therefore economical. This actively contributes to the conservation of resources and of our environment.
VITRONIC also says "Yes" to this initiative and will present machine vision systems at AUTOMATICA which provide their active contribution to the conservation of resources.
At this year's AUTOMATICA in Munich, the logo of the "Green Automation" initiative will adorn the VITRONIC booth. Projects with the machine vision systems VINSPEC and VINSPECsolar will be presented as references.
The machine vision system VINSPEC ensures flawless products in the actuator production of Bosch and thusly provides its contribution to more efficient diesel and gasoline engines. The new piezo-injectors lower fuel consumption, increase engine power and lower emissions. The utilization of the machine vision system VINSPEC allows a flawless and, in particular, resource-conserving manufacture of the actuators.
VINSPECsolar is used in the entire spectrum of photovoltaics production: for wafers, cells, modules or thin-film modules. The machine vision system checks for various criteria, makes the inspection results available for statistical evaluation and thusly contributes to the process optimization. The result: increased output and products of higher quality. Resources are conserved, processes are optimized and costs are lowered. This makes photovoltaics accessible to everyone and producers remain competitive.
