Corn Furnace Model 500-FA from Year-A-Round

Year-A-Round offers the Corn Furnace Model 500-FA. This model utilizes a delay agitator switch to start and stop the agitator at irregular intervals for more efficient burning of the fire for a longer duration. The air flow into the model can be adjusted manually utilizing a two-way adjustment screw while the firepot is in position thus allowing the fire pot and the gas fire to burn more efficiently. The installed 2hp electric motor and the fan increases air output and allows faster operation.

The Corn Furnace Model 500-FA offered by Year-A-Round has an on forced air furnace allowing increased heat transfer using the air flow chamber. The installed power outage and low fire safety switch stops feeding of corn during fire and electrical failure thus preventing overfill of the chamber. The air-flow auger used in the model introduces dispersing effect while feeding the corn thus increasing the BTU out and efficiency of the unit. The 1500º F heating element utilized in the Corn Furnace Model 500-FA provides faster easy start up and creates instant heat.

The length x width x height measurement of Model 500-FA is 84 inches x 35 inches x 80 inches. The BTU out put per hour is rated as 50,000 and this corn furnace can heat approximately 4000 to 12,000 sq. ft area. By utilizing a variable speed fan this unit achieves a heat transfer of 2600 to 3800 CFM.  This model utilizes 5–50 lbs of corn for burning and has a hopper capacity of 1000 lbs.
