Grape Solar Makes President Solar as Sole Distributor of its Solar Systems in three U.S. States

A provider of solar photovoltaic (PV) module solutions Grape Solar, Inc. is partnering with President Solar to make the latter the sole distributor of the photovoltaic (PV) solar systems of Grape Solar in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. The newly created President Solar, located in Fairfax, Virginia, will distribute PV panels of Grape Solar among other brands of mounting systems and inverters from its warehouse.

Making the solar systems and panels available to installers located in the three U.S. states will enable installers to reduce their wait times for systems as well as costs. Under the terms of the agreement, the solar systems will be delivered to any job location by President Solar or allow the installers to obtain the systems from its warehouse by themselves.

Currently, considerable local, state and federal incentives and rebates are available to business and home owners in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Moreover, a legislation proposed in April 2010 in Maryland can offer a Solar Renewable Energy Credit of $350/MWh.
