XP100U-H4 480 V Digitally Controlled Inverter from KACO Solar

KACO Solar provides the KACO XP100U-H4 480 V model digitally controlled inverter. The digital signal processor incorporated in the model checks and manages the functionality of the inverter components even while coupled to an unstable grid.

A unique pulse width modulation problem solving feature is installed for increased kilowatt hour output of the PV plant. The XP100U-H4 480 has an interactive TFT touch screen for easy setting up of the operating features. This module is designed to handle a maximum AC power rating of 100 kW and can be used for single unit type of PV installations.

The height × width × depth measurement of the KACO XP100U-H4 480 module is 1840 mm x 1724 mm x 930 mm and weighs 1100 kg. The DC operating range of this module is 300 – 600 V, its maximum DC input voltage is 600 V and maximum DC input current is 410 A. The output data of this module include a max continuous output power of 100 kW, a max continuous output current of 120 A, a max over current protection of 150 A, a max output fault current of 121 A, an AC operating voltage of 480 Vac 3-Phase Wye, a frequency of 60 Hz and a CEC rated efficiency of 96%.

The KACO XP100U-H4 480 module has a variable speed fan to maintain the required ambient temperature to improve the performance of the system and to reduce the wastage of power due to unrequited system cooling. The noise level of this thermal protected module is <65 dB. This model meets the safety compliance UL 1741, IEEE 1547, NEC and communications compliance of FCC Part 15 Class A.
