Water Purification Systems Engineered with the Three R's in mind

Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science has engineered water purification systems with the three “R s” in mind – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. These smart green designs provide customers with excellent, environmentally friendly pure water systems.

Reduce - The use of high quality resin in Thermo Scientific cartridges provides the highest quality of ultrapure water and extends the lifetime of the cartridge itself. This reduces the need to reorder, ship, handle and dispose of expired cartridges. Additionally, all Thermo Scientific water purification units operate in a low energy mode after dispensing, reducing power consumption without sacrificing water quality.

Reuse - All Thermo Scientific cartridge casings and endcaps are made from virgin polypropylene and are fully recyclable. Manufactured in a clean environment, using environmentally friendly techniques which avoid the use of hazardous solvents and adhesives enables the plastic and resin to be recovered, reground and reused.

Recycle – The P.U.R.E (Protecting and Utilizing Resources for our Environment) recycling program is designed to reduce landfill waste and cost by recycling nearly 100% of Thermo Scientific cartridges.
