Fortis America offers the Montana 3.1m wind turbine. This small-sized wind turbine is meant for use in individual homes and small business establishments.

The wind turbine uses three number of blades measuring 2.35 m and the blades are made of fiberglass-reinforced epoxy. The rotor diameter of this wind turbine is 5.0 m and provides a peak rated output of 5.8 kW in 17 m/s wind speed. The Montana 3.1m wind turbine covers a sweep area of 19.63 m².
