Energy efficiency and renewable energy industries are having an impact on various industries such as manufacturing, construction, project management, design, sales, information technology and agriculture. Renewable energy resources such as hydropower, solar power, wind power and agricultural waste burning can be utilized for producing electrical energy. Biomass resources including wood material, grasses and food crop stalks can be converted into gasoline or ethanol for powering vehicles.
Fuels from biologically regenerating raw materials and waste represent an ideal alternative to fossil fuels. Such hydrocarbon materials are present within raw biological materials such as plants and wood as well as in waste products including plant and animal wastes. Organic waste substances and waste oils can be transformed into high-efficiency diesel.
The CEO of Trumatech Peter Cennamo commented that one of the challenges of this current generation is to find ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and fossil fuel usage while producing sufficient power to prop up economic development worldwide.
