Evergreen Solar Launches New ES-A Series Solar Panels

String Ribbon solar energy products manufacturer Evergreen Solar, Inc. has launched its latest ES-A series solar panel at the Solar Expo during May 5–7, 2010, in Verona, Italy. An ES-A solar panel has 215 W capacity.

Belonging to the String Ribbon line of solar panels, the ES-A series offers high performance. This new product complements Evergreen Solar’s existing line of 210, 205 and 200 W solar panels having a black frame which when installed on rooftops enhances the solar arrays’ aesthetic appearance.

The Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Evergreen Solar Scott Gish stated that the recent ES-A 215 solar panels are efficient, powerful and environmentally friendly.

By utilizing its proprietary wafer production technology, all of the String Ribbon solar panels of Evergreen Solar are built in an environmentally-friendly manner with almost no wasted silicon. In comparison with other solar panels, the company’s new solar panels achieve 30% less carbon footprint. The solar panels have energy payback of 1 year for installed panels. Moreover, the ES-A panel utilizes completely cardboard-free packaging for minimizing disposal expenses and job site waste.
