Q-Cells offers the CIGS thin film solar module SL2. This module is available in five different models with variations in output and efficiency.
The SL2-115 is top in the range with the nominal efficiency of 12.2%, a Pmax of 115.0 W, an Isc of 1.61 A, a Voc of 94.7, an Imp of 1.49 A, and a Vmp of 77.0 V under standard test conditions. The length x width x height measurements of this module is 1190 mm x 790 mm x 7.4 mm and this module weighs 16.5 kg.
The SL2-115 thin film solar module provided by Q-Cells incorporates 150 CIGS thin film solar cells. This frameless module has 4 mm tempered low iron glass as front cover and 3 mm float glass as its back cover. The junction box utilized in this module incorporates a by-pass diode and the box meets IP 65 protection class. The positive cable length of this module is 730 mm and the negative cable length is 635 mm and utilizes a multi-contact MC4 type of connector.
The SL2-115 thin film solar module has temperature coefficients such as Isc á [%/K] +0.02 ± 0.04, Voc â [%/K] -0.36 ± 0.04 and Pmax ã [%/K] -0.45 ± 0.04. The maximum system voltage of this module is 1000 V (IEC), and the maximum reverse current is 3.0 A.
