Natural Light offers Commercial Curb-mounted 30 W Solar Attic Fan. This attic fan is compact in design and powered utilizing solar energy. This model requires no external electrical wiring and can be installed easily.
The angled throat design included within the flashing of this fan offers a kind of venturi effect and increases the air circulation. The solar panel provided to power this fan can be installed in the required angle utilizing the brackets provided. For attic positions with limited sunlight an optional remote solar panel is provided for use. The neutral grey color paint used in the model prevents heat sink phenomena and the design of the mounting bracket allows continuous circulation of cool air around the panel to maintain the temperature.
The 30 W Solar Attic Fan provided by Natural Light has five-wing precision balanced blades made of aluminum. These blades operate up to 1550 cfms and vents air up to 2500 sq. ft. The flashing and the hood of this model are made of aircraft grade .080 gauge aluminum for long-lasting sturdiness. This attic fan can be installed either by a cut opening on roof or can slide under the shingles.
The Solar Attic Fan from Natural Light incorporates a thermal switch for automatic starting of the fan when the temperature in the attic zone passes 80¢ª F and to stop the fan when the temperature cools down to 70¢ª F. This attic fan has a stainless steel guard to prevent entry of animals. The attic fan is fixed to the flashing of the roof by utilizing strong silicone bonds.
