SolarFrameWorks Partners with Johns Manville to Market CoolPly

SolarFrameWorks Co. has inked an agreement with building products manufacturer Johns Manville. As per the agreement, Johns Manville will distribute the proprietary Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) roofing product of SolarFrameWorks named CoolPly. Johns Manville will market CoolPly through the JM Eco-leadership Company, its business entity.

Some of the features of BIPV CoolPly include: light-weight in nature, yet offers high resistance to wind; does not pierce the roofing membrane; comprises a proprietary chamber for cooling the solar panel; matches the presently existing roof; offers a cost-effective solar solution; and reduces installation and labor costs.

Unlike traditional photovoltaic solar panel mounting systems, BIPV CoolPly is a customizable product that blends well with any existing roof membrane in the jobsite. The product can be installed by local roofers by conventional roofing approaches. Just recently, BIPV CoolPly was displayed at the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting in the booth of Johns Manville.
