Carmanah Technologies offers Carmanah Solar Marine Lantern Solutions for the Marine Industry. This marine lantern is available in M502, M601, M701-5, M702-5, M704-5 and M708 models. The M708 Solar LED marine lantern is robust constructed and has a compact all inclusive design.
This maintenance free marine lantern is designed to resist vandalism and theft and manage to withstand the adverse ocean weather conditions. This lantern has automatic settings for light control and offers 250 types of flash options. The minimum peak intensity of this lantern is 125cd and is designed to offer a performance up to 6NM.
Solar LED Marine Lantern
The M708 Solar LED marine lantern provided by Carmanah Technologies has a height x width measurement of 397 mm x 235 mm and with bird prevention feature this lantern has a height of 516 mm. The rugged stainless steel bird prevention guard keeps the solar optic clean for increased power production. The low profile polycarbonate optic used in the design withstands damages from ocean wastes. The solar cells pasted over polyurethane surface are protected by rugged aluminum extrusion frame.
The peak intensity of the M708 Solar LED marine lantern is 153 cd. The vertical deviation of this model is 7°. This model is vibration tested as per MIL-STD-202G Method 204D, Shock tested as per MIL-STD-202G Method 213B at 50G and ESD tested As per USCG 502G CH3, Section 3.5.9, +/- 25 kV air discharge. An optional GPS synchronized flashing is available with this model.
