Cavico Provides Updates on Construction Projects

Infrastructure development company Cavico Corp. has provided updates on its construction projects at Dambri Hydropower, A Luoi Hydropower Plant and Ta Trach Reservoir.

At the Ta Trach reservoir, the company has utilized the New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM) to construct and excavate a diversion tunnel 17.45 meters high and 295 meters long. The reservoir is situated on the Huong (Perfume) River at Duong Hoa village in Vietnam and it belongs to Hydropower Management No. 5.

Cavico Corp. completed an important service road close to the Dambri Hydropower Plant. This $80-million plant is located at Da Huoai village in Vietnam. Southern Hydropower Joint Stock Company owns the plant and is likely to have 75 MW of capacity.

At the A Luoi Hydropower Plant, Cavico Corp. drilled a vertical shaft using the Robbins 61R technology. This plant is situated at Thua Thien Hue province in Vietnam. Central Hydropower Joint Stock Co. owns this plant which has 170 MW capacity.
