The Sole Power Tile product of building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) products developer SRS Energy has been chosen to be displayed at the National Design Triennial exhibition which is presented by the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum of the Smithsonian Institution. This curved solar roofing tile has been developed to blend in well with numerous styles of clay roofing tiles of US Tile.

The National Design Triennial program, started in 2000, presents innovative designs. The ‘Why Design Now?’ exhibition provides a glimpse of modern innovation, by looking at what engineers, designers, citizens, entrepreneurs and engineers are doing in different fields. ‘Why Design Now?’ is likely to run from the 14th of May 2010 to the 9th of January 2011 at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum of the Smithsonian Institution located in New York City.

The Sole Power Tile system of SRS Energy offers the environmental and financial benefits of solar energy even without compromising roof integrity or curb appeal. Currently, US Tile and SRS Energy are introducing this product in select markets in California.
