Seistronix offers the EX-12 Explorer distributed seismic system. This seismograph is meant for small, medium and large level refraction and reflection surveys. The EX-12 provides 12 channels of 24-Bit A/D conversion units for a range of dynamic 2D or 3D applications.
This system can make real-time acquisition of data on 2000 channels at 2 ms sample rate. The EX-12 explorer does computerized performance tests and continuously measures interference patterns. This seismic data collecting system is packed in a sturdy, water proof case made of cast aluminum. For the purpose of monitoring the box status and line integrity LED status indicators are provided. This data system can work seamlessly with Windows XP/Vista operating systems.
The EX-12 Explorer distributed seismic system provided by Seistronix incorporates an acquisition unit, line tap unit, a line interface unit and a battery charger. This model utilizes an Ethernet equipped laptop with Windows XP/Vista operating systems as controller. The record sample intervals of this seismic machine can be kept at 0.125, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 ms intervals. This system deploys a real-time noise monitor that allows viewing between stacks. The stacking utilized in this model is of positive or negative vertical stack with unstuck/restack options. This model incorporates an eight pair 12 takeout reversible type of cable.
The EX-12 Explorer is mostly used in applications related to mineral exploration, oil and gas, water surveys, and others.
