SolarEdge Technologies, a PV monitoring and Distributed Solar Power Harvesting solutions provider, has collaborated with French residential integrator Solelux Toiture for expanding its presence in the French market.
Since the commencement of this year, Solelux Toiture has installed numerous SolarEdge systems every month around 3 kWp each. By the close of this year, Solelux Toiture intends to increase the installation rate reaching 10 MWp.
The power harvesting solution of SolarEdge Technologies includes multi-string solar inverter, a monitoring portal and module-integrated power optimizers named PowerBoxes. This solution, ideal for residential installations, facilitates the generation of around 25% more power from PV installation, even while decreasing complexities and costs. Residential installations account for more than 90% of the PV market in France.
The SolarEdge solution provides a completely automatic solution for fire safety and electrocution prevention. The increase in demand in France for PV installations will in turn create awareness among the public of PV safety. The SolarEdge solution will be more ideal to the French market, with the enforcement of novel safety regulations by the National Committee for the Safety of Electricity Users (CONSUEL).
During June 9 – 11, 2010, SolarEdge Technologies will announce novel products and demonstrate its solution in Munich at Intersolar Europe.
