WePower offers the Swan solar hot water system. This hot water system includes a circulating pump, a derivative temperature control with two sensors, a mixing valve and a temperature pressure release valve.
This aesthetically streamlined system does not require any roof supports and is freeze protected. The automated solar controller incorporated in this model manages the functions such as filling the storage tank and stopping the operation when the tank becomes full, removing the pump blockages, monitoring the temperatures of the tank and the solar collector, providing vacation mode operation and managing freeze recirculation process.
The solar collector deployed in the Swan solar hot water system provided by WePower incorporates low iron tempered glass, low-binder fiberglass insulation, rigid foam insulation, stainless steel fasteners, and a copper absorber plate. The solar panel is fixed in an extruded anodized aluminum casing and cap strip with riveted corners, stainless steel fasteners and a painted aluminum back sheet. A black chrome or black paint is used as absorber coating and vent plugs are provided for draining water.
The Swan solar hot water systems has an isolation tank design for increased heat retention and utilizes ¾ inches connection for water and collector loop. The tank design utilized in the model prevents corrosion and the copper tubing coil-around the heat exchanger fixed to the tank. The double wall vented design of this model allows easy leak detection and the anode rod is used for balancing the water action.
