Gaia-Wind 133-11kW Wind Turbine provided by Gaia-Wind

Gaia-Wind offers the Gaia-Wind 133-11kW turbine. This small wind turbine has a maximum rated output of 11 kW at a constant slow rated 61 rpm.

Gaia-Wind 133-11kW Wind Turbine

The Gaia-Wind 133-11kW turbine offers a favorable annual output even at a moderate speed of 4.5–7.5 m/s. This directly connected wind turbine does not require an inverter for storing the output. The tower of this wind turbine measures 18 m high and is constructed utilizing galvanized steel and provided in lattice or tubular form.

The 133-11kW wind turbine has an oversized, twin blade designed composite rotor unit measuring 13 m in diameter. In upright position the top edge of the rotor extends to a height of 24.8 m and at the lowest point it extends to 11.8 m above the ground. The oversized rotor of this wind turbine captures 80% more energy than other turbines of same capacity.  This wind turbine has a reinforced concrete base with a dimension of 5 m x 5 m x 0.55 m and the tower is bolted on the concrete surface.

This wind turbine utilizes a direct cable to connect to the building power supply fuse box. The fully shielded cable is buried at a depth of 0.75 m. To ensure safe operations this wind turbine goes in automatic parking mode when the wind speed reaches beyond 90 km. This wind turbine has received MCS accreditation.
