Jones Lang LaSalle has established an in-depth Solar Power Solutions team to further expand its Energy and Sustainability Services group. This new team is headed by David Gralnik, who recently joined the San Diego office of Jones Lang LaSalle as Senior Vice President.
The expertise of David in solar energy in commercial buildings, coupled with the resources of Jones Lang LaSalle in project management and engineering facilitates the company to offer customized solutions for meeting the renewable energy objectives of the company’s clients.
Recently, David had expanded and managed strategic accounts as well as global financing alliance collaborations at Solar Integrated Technologies. David previously worked with numerous companies including PG&E Energy Services, Sempra Energy Solutions, TXU Energy, RealEnergy and Honeywell SES.
Depending on the needs of the clients, the team members of Solar Power Solutions are likely to: conduct an assessment on portfolios for determining the potential for producing energy for property occupants; consider each and every benefit/cost factor such as financing options, incentives and taxes; negotiate agreements for owners of buildings such as power purchase contracts with occupants; and perform constant maintenance work on solar arrays.
The Energy and Sustainability Services group of Jones Lang LaSalle offers integrated, in-depth services including corporate sustainability consulting, LEED project management, energy management and green property and facility management. In 2009, the company recorded energy savings of $100 million for clients by means of saving 836 million kWh, thereby resulting in total decreased greenhouse gas emissions of 465,000 tons.
