Trina Solar Partners with China General Certification Centre and TUV Rheinland

A subsidiary of Trina Solar Limited Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co., Ltd has inked an agreement with China General Certification Centre, Underwriters Laboratories Inc. and TUV Rheinland Group at its 2010 worldwide customer conference that saw the attendance of over 100 business partners, customers and government officials of Changzhou. Trina Solar is a solar photovoltaic (PV) product manufacturer that produces wafers, cells and ingots and also assembles PV modules.

Trina Solar Limited has established a 'Witness Test Data Program' with Underwriters Laboratories and a 'Testing at Manufacturers Premises Scheme' with TUV Rheinland Group for performing product certification tests in the Changzhou PV Testing Centre of the company whereby in compliance with IEC 17025, activities conducted will be witnessed by certification bodies. Moreover, Trina Solar Limited will collaborate with China General Certification Centre to offer in-house photovoltaic certification and testing services for customers both in China and overseas.
