Satcon offers the Satcon S-Type 210 kW PV inverters. The inverters are suitable for use with large-scale solar installations. The enclosure incorporated in the model withstands the demanding outdoor atmosphere, and has advanced monitoring control and the patented Edge MPPT solution.
The components used in the inverters are kept protected in a space saving cabinet that can be installed, maintained and operated with ease. The cabinet box is made of 14 gauge powder coated G 90 steel, where the base and door are made of 16 gauge powder coated steel.
The height x width x depth measurement of the NEMA 3R rating cabinet used to house 210 kW PV inverter is 92.6 in. x 117.7 in. x 43.3 in. and weights 4500 lbs. The components installed in the cabinet can be conveniently reached. The large-sized in-floor cable glands extend easy access to DC and AC cables. The input parameters of PVS-210-S 480 VAC module include a maximum array input voltage of 600 VDC, a MPPT full power input voltage of 265-600 VDC and a maximum input current of 830 A DC. The output voltage include ranges from 422 to 528 VAC, a nominal output voltage of 480 VAC, an output frequency ranging from 59.5 to 60.5 Hz, and a nominal output frequency of 60 Hz.
The Satcon S-Type 210 kW PV inverters offered by Satcon use forced air type of cooling and operates in an ambient temperature range of -20 to +50º C with a noise level of <65 dB(A). The cabinet of the inverters has UBC Zone 4 seismic rating and meets the required testing and certification norms.
