Chromagen manufactures the Chromagen Thermosiphon solar heating system. The system comprises a solar collector and a storage tank. The solar heating system works on the principles of natural water circulation and does not require a pump or a control unit.
This solar heating system includes all the required connections and fittings. The solar collector incorporated in the module includes a coated absorber plate and a tempered solar glass, that are kept inside a coated galvanized steel or aluminum casing with polyurethane insulation.
The solar collectors utilized in the thermosiphon heating system are offered in various sizes ranging from 1.5 to 3.5 m2. The tanks for storing the water for heating purpose are supplied in 120, 150, 200 and 300 L sizes. For better heating competence the heating efficiency of solar collectors are matched with a right sized tank. The 300 L tank is offered with a solar collector measuring 2x1.9 m2/ 2x2.2 m2 in size. The inner shell of tanks are made up of steel and enamel coated and offered in polyester coated galvanized steel or aluminum external encasing options. The tanks are offered with polyurethane insulation and electric backup. Standard solar tanks are offered for an open loop system. For a closed loop system, tanks equipped with heat exchangers are offered.
The Chromagen Thermosiphon solar heating system offered by the Chromagen includes necessary connecting kits to connect the solar collector and the storage tank.
