Wood Heat Stoves and Solar offers the Solar Star solar-powered attic fan. This attic fan incorporates a patented and advanced 10 W photovoltaic Solar Star solar panel to power the fan.
The high-impact panel withstands high velocity winds, hail storms and damages due to collision of foreign objects. The brushless motor with double shielded ball bearings incorporated in the fan operates noiselessly, operates using 1–38 VDC, offers good performance and lasts for years. The five bladed fan incorporated in the module is made of made of polymeric material, operates noiselessly and produces higher level of CFM output.
Solar Star Solar Powered Attic Fan
The patented canted fan blades used in the module steps up the air flow. The corrosion resistant fan incorporates a light weight design to decrease motor resistance for optimum reliable performance. The solar powered attic fan offered by Solar Star is housed in black powder coated galvanized steel cage with an anticorrosive polymer vent screen. The seamless single piece steel flashing used with the attic fan allows easy installation on all types of roof and pitch designs. The flashings also can be installed over pitched or flat type of roofs.
This attic fan can be installed in less than 30 min and ventilates up to 1200 sq.ft area. This solar-powered attic fan prevents heat and moisture at attic level and functions with no recurring costs for years.
