ENN Solar Energy to Supply Silicon Modules to CECEP

ENN Solar Energy Co., a manufacturer of large-size thin film modules will be supplying silicon thin film modules to a photovoltaic (PV) plant. The China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) will be promoting the project. CECEP is planning to develop a five MW plant in Inner Mongolia. The project, after completion, will be one of the world’s largest PV solar project utilizing silicon tandem junction technology.

ENN Solar recently enhanced its aperture efficiency  in its production of Applied SunFab thin films. More than 500W of clean electricity can be produced at this efficiency rate by each thin film module. This clean energy generated will allow customers to build low-cost large-scale solar power plants.

The modules of ENN Solar Energy and its integrated power station solutions have profited customers in numerous ways. Higher kilowatt hours of electricity are achieved by using the thin film modules. The integrated mounting structure utilizes the panel size to construct modules and build highly efficient solar farms. Added to that, architectural applications make use of these modules since the panels can replace conventional building materials.

Kirk Haaserijan, Vice President of Applied Materials' SunFab division, stated that customers gained a significant advantage when the integrated power station solutions were combined with ENN Solar’s latest thin film modules. Mr. Hongqiu Cai, CEO of ENN Solar Energy expressed happiness in undertaking this project and expressed hope that a long lasting relationship would be formed between the two companies because of this project. .
