AltE Store offers the SunMate environmental solar system. This module consists of a solar panel and a wall mounting kit.
The wall mounting kit includes a fan with air duct and finger guard, a return air duct with finger guard and air filter and an interior wall thermostat. This system draws the cold air in flow within the room by utilizing a brushless 100 CFM, fan and circulates the drawn air through a heated solar absorber panel mounted over the roof or over the side wall. The fan receives its power supply from a 120 VAC 60 Hz to 12 VDC 8.5 W step down transformer. The warmed up air is sent back to the room through the air duct and an air filter to offer ambient room temperature. The interior wall thermostat incorporated in the wall mounting kit routinely starts the fan when the heat over the absorber plate reaches 110°F and stops the fan when the temperature at the absorber plate reaches 90°F.
The solar panel integrated in SunMate environmental solar system is available in a length x width x depth dimension of 77 in. x 35 in. x 4 in. and weighs 86 lbs. Multiple number of panels can be used for increased heat air requirement. The solar glass incorporated in the panel is triple sealed low iron tempered glass. The single piece frame is made of anodized aluminum. The polyisocyanurate insulation reduces the heat loss in the panel to the minimum.
This solar panel incorporated in the SunMate environmental solar system marketed by the AltE Store offers an energy output of 5.56 kW/d and a matching heat energy output of 19,000 BTU. By utilizing a single solar panel a 750 sq.ft sized room can be heated for ambient temperature. The mounting kit is mounted inside the room using stainless screws.
