EcoDirect offers the Outback VFX3232M vented type inverter/charger for marine mobile applications. This inverter module comprises an AC transfer switch with a 30 A pass through and an automatic neutral ground switching, a true sinewave inverter, and a quick battery charger. The design of this inverter enables production of distortion free AC power for use in all types of mobile electrical applications.
The surge power feature incorporated in the module allows simultaneous starting of multiple heavy loads without the need for running a generator. For quicker charging of batteries this inverter incorporates a novel power factor corrected battery charging feature thus saving on generator running time. The Outback VFX3232M inverter/charger offered by the EcoDirect incorporates a quick AC transfer switch with battery charger back off circuitry to take advantage of the shore power connectivity. The modular design of the inverter allows inclusion of more inverter/chargers for augmenting the power system. This inverter functions noiselessly and can be used efficiently in noise sensitive areas. Its simple three circuit board design allows easy onsite repair. This inverter/charger utilizes surface coated circuit boards, power coated die cast aluminum frame work, O ring seals and gaskets to prevent seepage of water and defy corrosion.
The Outback VFX3232M inverter/charger offers a nominal DC input voltage of 32 VDC, a continuous power rating of 3200 V at 25ºC, an AC voltage frequency of 120 VAC 60 Hz, a peak maximum output current of 56 A, a maximum AC input current of 30 A, an AC input voltage range of 80–150 VAC, an AC input frequency range of 54 to 66 Hz, and a continuous batter charge output of 45 A DC. The height x width x length dimension of this unit is 30 cm x 21 cm x 41 cm and weighs 25 kg.
