GC China Turbine Inks Wind Turbine Agreement with Tianhe Wind Power

GC China Turbine Corp., a turbine and twin blade manufacturer, has inked a wind energy equipment agreement with the Tianhe Wind Power Development Co., Ltd for the China Guodian Inner Mongolia Xilinguolemeng Tianhe Wind Farm meant for its first stage with 49.3 MW capacity.  

China Guodian is a power producing group, employing 110,000 people situated throughout 16 provinces and regions, 2 scientific research institutes, 13 large subsidiaries as well as around 200 primary energy producing enterprises.

The overall electrical installation generation capacity of China Guodian stands at 82,030,000 kW, out of which 5,345,200 kW has been allocated for wind energy. At the close of December 2009, China Guodian’s overall assets reached $61.6 billion or RMB418.8 billion.

China Guodian has carried out an on-site examination of the products of GC China Turbine and completely reviewed the operational information. This contract agreement is valued at $33.8 million or RMB230,000,000. As per the contract, before September 2010, 50 wind turbines are to be supplied to China Guodian.
