Green Energy offers the Solar Gren lite street lighting. The Gren lite lightings are available in four models with differences in size of solar panels and capacity of batteries and charge controllers used.
The GES.SSL.GL 80 street lighting system incorporates a unique patented integrated circuit board technology and low frequency nonintervention type of electromagnetic induction. This model utilizes 75 W x 4 monocrystal silicon solar panels for power supply and 200 Ah x 2 batteries for storing the power for lighting.
The power source available in the lighting system can be efficiently used in a variety of applications requiring power in the range of 80–200 W. The patented IC controlled electronic ballast incorporated in the module effectively regulates the current and provides stable current. The GES.SSL.GL 80 street lighting system from the Green Energy does not use electrodes, filaments or external ferrite coils. The solar street special micro computer intelligent controller incorporated in the module controls the operations of the lighting system. For reliable performance this lighting system incorporates an advanced charging, discharging and lighting control circuit. The electromagnetic compatibility interference frequency of this module is at a low level of 210 kHz. The construction of the lighting system allows reliable starting even at -35ºC temperature. The harmonic distortion of this lighting is 2.7% and its power factor is 0.99.
The width x height dimension of the GES.SSL.GL 80 Gren lite lighting system is 115 mm x 400 mm and the ballast comes in a length x breadth x height dimension of 181 mm x 46.5 mm x 46 mm. The normal voltage of this module is 220/120/277/12/24 DC and this module efficiently works in temperatures ranging from -20 to 65ºC.
