American Capital Energy Constructs Utility-Scale Solar Installations

American Capital Energy (ACE) has announced that the company is currently constructing 20% of the utility-scale solar PV installations in the U.S. These PV power plants are expected to go online this year.

For more than five years now, the company has been constructing large-scale PV solar projects and will be delivering utility-scale power of 27 MW capacity in 2010 through its current 2-MW Boston project in Massachusetts, the 5-MW Hamilton project in New Jersey and the 20-MW Searchlight project in Nevada.

ACE, a global leader in solar-electric power systems integration, has successfully become a leader in the construction and development of solar PV arrays in the utility-scale sector. ACE is committed to assisting utilities decrease long-term operational expenses by means of developing effective, cost-efficient solar energy systems. Additionally, the installations of ACE include some of the largest rooftop installations in the U.S.
