Astrum Solar Installs Solar Panel System for Washington D.C. Residents

Astrum Solar has installed a residential solar panel system for Washington D.C. residents Mike Gala and Shelley Cohen. The company’s residential solar system, with a capacity of 11.96 kW will be the largest in the District of Columbia, thus facilitating the pursuit of carbon neutrality and energy independence. Its 52 solar panels will have the ability to produce 13,754 kWh of electrical energy annually.

Overall, in terms of environmental benefits, this solar project will be equivalent to recycling 100 tons waste for a period of 30 years or planting 250 trees on an annual basis. Additionally, the company has been installing solar systems by the hundreds for states such as Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey and Maryland. The company is all set to reach its landmark 500th installation this year.
